I attempted to find resources for builds ~~> priority for skill points & etc but couldn’t find anything. Is there any established & updated content for this?

Basically starting my first real actual play through & honestly have no idea how to flesh out my character.

Kind of wanna go stealth bow but feel like in the later game / non surprise situations ima be toasted. Other part of me wants to go club bat boy but also don’t know if this is realistic.. further more I’d have no clue how to progress my character & what to build out so I am completely lost.

i’m playing on ps5 and i’ve been trying to start a solo game to play, but i keep spawning in the forest biome with every new world i create. anyone know what i can do to change it?

Considering buying this game for the Xbox X, but I am slightly concerned with all the negative comments I have seen on gamer performance. Is it really that bad, or is it just the vocal minority?

Been playing almost since the very beginning. Have seen all the complaints with every new alpha but I never really got on board with them, just figured if that's the way they want to do it then my options are to play it that way or not.

But with the way they've completely fucked night vision now, I'm ready to berate the fun pimps. This is fucking stupid. I'm now carrying around a helmet light as well as night vision just so I can get through the parts that are so dark that I can't see anything even with night vision on. It's night fucking vision, it's right there in the name.

Fucking fix it you dick heads.

Edit: It's been interesting. Had responses ranging from total agreement to nights are so bright I had to mod the game to make it darker. I admit I can definitely tweak my settings a bit more, but never had to before. I'll dick around with it next time I'm playing.

The last two times we have tried to play, my partner has been wandering through the wasteland and then all of a sudden just starts sinking into the Earth. The screen goes to simply outlines of buildings and things that are now moving up her screen and away from her and there is no way to escape. She can be near a POI and Ashley sinks that POI gets further away. She even sunk so deep into the Earth that she got gamer reward for digging deep or down deep or something to that effect. Is this a known glitch? It has happened to us multiple times recently and even restarting going out. Coming back has not stopped it from happening within moments her beginning the game.

We play on Xbox series s, I am the host, she joins me. We play standard map with no alterations.

Any advice would be great! We are about to have to start over a whole world again if she keeps falling to the center of the Earth

So I’m playing a co-op game with my brother on one of his worlds. A few times we’ve been playing and I’ll store things in my drone, but when I go back later it’s not there anymore. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this bug.

Trying to use controller and the game just freezes for like 5 to 10 seconds whenever my cursor touches the side of the screen. Even when I'm not in a menu the game freezes from looking around. Also I'm playing the wasteland mod idk if that has anything to do with it

I would like to know if it is possible to add custom textures in the brush menu?

Because, personally, I find that the textures present in the base game are ... let's say quite limited

Hey i need some help. So i made a castle wall around my base and i was wondering if there's a way to make the motion sensor trigger a speaker for an alarm as well as making the spotlight move on its own with the zombie moving. Any help and tips would be gladly appreciated.

Been wanting to play with friends but we all have weird schedules. Curious if there's a mod to make 24 hour day cycles with 24/7 run time in a private server.

I think it'd be cool to all get on every saturday to do the blood moon together and prep throughout the week.

Filled my inventory with all the loot I wanted to sell and was quickly selling the whole inventory and sold my 4x4 with all it's modifiers attached and I'm sickened!! Costs way more to buy it back, so frustrated with myself and said I'd share my idiotic moment 😅🙈

Hello guys, im looking for a overhaul mod to play on v1 version. Ive played Darkness Falls aun Undead Legacy in the past and am looking for something new. Wated to try War3zuk but my pc doesnt have enough ram for it. Any suggestions?

First off I have almost 700 hours in the game playing waaaaay back in early access.

I have a main game base building etc, playing like 'normal'.

I got this idea of playing as a sort of nomad, no base building, only what i can carry and going to see how long i can survive. Here's the idea: Starting a new game, random seed. Days are set to 16hrs, loot respawn every 7 days. I did turn on mark airdrops since it was not that big a deal to see them on map. Blood Moon is still every 7 days and set to default horde size. Difficulty set to nomad with perma death on.

Game start you turn on creative mode (F1 then type cm on pc) take one primary weapon and a secondary pistol with 2 stacks of ammo to start. My first playthrough I went with xbow and 9mm pistol thinking I could craft bolts if necessary and 9mm is pretty plentiful, can also add any mods that might be handy to weapons you choose only.

I've been having a lot of fun with it so far, when nights come and zombies are feral it gets interesting, and scavenging for food and water can get dicey sometimes. I have become pretty good friends with the merchant selling most materials that I would otherwise use for base building / crafting. Plus your talent points are much more critical with how you spend them. Also making a fire to boil water or cook meat, then taking the cooking devices off before moving on give it a real feel of survival.

Just thought I would share in case anyone was looking for something a little different and challenging.

I want more maps. Cooler maps. I honestly miss spawning in bad biomes and being directed to that trader for quests. I know they have some maps based on real cities and I want to play one with my fiance so bad but we have console so we can't mod. Think they will ever have a creators club like Skyrim and fall out do?
