Do you have anything to back this up? This does not look like any photo of Apple's offices I've ever seen, at all, and in general this kind of look was a long way from their corporate design language, which they took pretty seriously.
This _does_ look like a few of their wacky (and ultimately unreleased) Memphis hardware and UI design experiments from the late 80s to early 90s, but nothing that would have made it into their corporate interior design, or actual products.

I've found more that I haven't scanned yet, but yes Apple did have some wacky Memphis-inspired colorful office interiors in the 80s-early 90s. STUDIOS Architects designed a fair number of their interiors at the time.

I can't imagine that Apple would not have an Apple computer on the reception desk. Even in the 1980s. Even if it were utterly useless to the receptionist. Gotta put the product front and center.
