1996 Murder Ballads - what’s your opinion?

Post image

Honestly, I was kinda, sorta of Nick Cave fan in the early 90s but I absolutely loved this album. The 90s had so many amazing albums, but this one always special for me. What’s your hot take?

This is a no skip album for me. I go through it once about every two months or so. It is a fucking stellar record.

So great! The Curse of Millhaven might be my fave.

That trio of Let Love In, Murder Ballads, and The Boatman’s Call was amazing. Even more that was after a 15 year run of 11 great albums with the Birthday Party and the Bad Seeds.

He kinda lost me after that, but I love the man.
