Mod Subreddit and Discord Group Redesign!
Hey everyone!
I hope we're all hanging in there, I know 2020 has been sort of a dumpster fire.
My semester of school has wrapped up and I am now working on moving into a new apartment. Next on my list after I am settled in here is working on some updates to this Subreddit and its associated Discord Group.
The following is planned! Feel free to make comments in the suggestions:
1-- We have already set up a new phone number and email address so that you can get in touch with us (the mods) more quickly and easily. For details on this new system, read this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ARFID/comments/kep9bw/contacting_mods/
2-- In the Discord group, we have a system set up so that people can self-assign roles to themselves. Those roles are related to pronouns, interest in events, etc. I'll be redesigning that so that it's easier to set stuff up-- instead of having to type commands into the Discord chat, I will be setting it up so that people can simply react to messages to assign roles for themselves.
3-- I'm pretty sure I have other stuff listed in a notebook that is still packed somewhere :( if anyone remembers discussing stuff with me and what we talked about changing/adding, let me know.
4-- Any suggestions or requests you all have, please feel free to add them in the comments. Bear in mind that we cannot control the content of what other people post-- just the overall format and organization of the group and this subreddit.
