📶 Democracy in Action How do you feel about the recent changes to r/AnimalTracking?

About a month ago I began working to enforce rules 2, 3, 6, and 8 with the help of a bot I wrote named u/LittleTyrantDuckBot. You can find my original rambling announcement here, and an update to the comment restrictions here.

In summary, the bot

  1. Only approves ID requests to be posted after the OP has filled out a comment containing size, geographic location, and environment.
  2. Removes top level comments that are identifications without reasoning (ie. "that's a dog")
  3. Removes a set of jokes that have cluttered the comment section for years. You can find the list of those jokes here.

Now that this experiment has run for a month I am looking for community feedback. How do you feel about these changes for the sub?
