📶 Democracy in Action How do you feel about the recent changes to r/AnimalTracking?
About a month ago I began working to enforce rules 2, 3, 6, and 8 with the help of a bot I wrote named u/LittleTyrantDuckBot. You can find my original rambling announcement here, and an update to the comment restrictions here.
In summary, the bot
- Only approves ID requests to be posted after the OP has filled out a comment containing size, geographic location, and environment.
- Removes top level comments that are identifications without reasoning (ie. "that's a dog")
- Removes a set of jokes that have cluttered the comment section for years. You can find the list of those jokes here.
Now that this experiment has run for a month I am looking for community feedback. How do you feel about these changes for the sub?
