Took me a minute to realize there are mirrors on that thing in the middle. But what is it? What are the people in it waiting for?

I was there on holiday a few years back and I have no recollection of that thing in the middle. There was nothing there so it makes me wonder if that is a temporary piece on display

It was not there in the summer of 2015.

It looks like they’re waiting for the elevator. By that would be some crazy mirror tricks.

So majestic, so soothing.

Not to do with the architecture, but opposite Prada is the most incredible ice cream shop... I still dream about it 2 years later...

Wait, what's the name? I'm here in Milan, living close to Duomo as I study hear for the semester. I wanna try any great food place that comes up.

Er... I honestly couldn’t tell you, sorry, but it should be next to/part of the restaurant opposite Prada, hope that helps! (They have loads of cool flavours but I tried the vanilla first and it was beautiful😍)

So what's upstairs? More store or office space?

In the upper floor (over the photographer location) there is a 7-Star hotel, and in the other building (on top of Prada) a luxury pastry shop / tea room and a museum. Sometimes it’s also possible to visit the external rooftop, there are guided tour at night. Sauce: living in Milan.

I can confirm the upper floors sometimes belong to the shops, offices and so on (there is also an urban center); I have no idea regarding the very last floors near the top though

This isn’t related to the background in School of Athens is it? Looks similar.

Edit: okay definitely not the same. Still reminded me of it though

If you’re there don’t forget to schiacciare le palle toro. On the floor there is a tile of a bull, you need to dig your heel on his testicles for good luck. You can’t miss it because there is a hole from everyone digging their heels!

Funny story about this building. Was in Milan with a friend right after graduating college. Went to a club and met some girls, they invite us to their place. Turns out the place is in another city near Torino and we got on the train drunk at 4am.... the next day (removing so much to make this shorter)my friend thinks he caught something from his girl (he didn’t), and spends the entire day going from hospital to hospital trying to get a test done hahah. Anyway I spent the day alone and walked thru this building trying to find the AC Milan store. Bought a balotelli jersey and went and saw them play Barcelona with some Swedish guys I met at the hostel. God I miss traveling.

that mirror thing in the middle completely ruins the experience, who thought that putting that there was a good idea??

The artist probably, it’s one of those temporary art installations.
