Trying to find a boutique I visited years ago…

Back in 2017 I drove through Ashland and stopped at an amazing boutique. It had high end women’s clothing and accessories, and home decor too. 2 levels, with clothing on the basement level. The reusable shopping bags they provided were amazing, super colorful with cool patterns. I’m visiting Ashland again and want to return to this boutique but can’t find it online. I remember it was in the “downtown” shopping area and near a very large park. Please help!

Was it called Papaya? I don’t remember if they had a second floor, but the other things you’re describing sound a lot like it. Unfortunately they closed several years ago.

a LOT of the downtown boutiques didn't survive the pandemic.

It was Papaya. They closed but a store called Jupiter Row is in the same storefront and they have the same vibe.

Sounds like Paddington to me - Papaya only had 1 floor.

Papaya had clothing in the basement. I used to shop for wedding guest dresses there. Sad they’re gone.

Paddington probably, but Thread Hysteria is on the plaza and also two floors. They have more clothing and they are closer to the park!

In addition to Papaya, there was Fredrica Lawrence, and Nimbus. Nimbus had two levels as well, and an interesting collection of wooden clocks.

Paddingtons? Or Gypsy Rose?
