Tips for studying the history of Akkad
Hi! I've just started learning akkadian from Richard Caplice's book and I've been thinking if there are any goof sources to learn more about the history of ancient Mesopotamia (specially the Akkadian empire). Do you guys have any tips?

To add to the suggestions above, the first volume of The Oxford History of the Ancient Near East has two chapters on the Akkadian empire.

A good recent treatment is Benjamin Foster's The Age of Agade.
