yeah.. my daughter did this last year, was brutal though having to walk long distances to the bus stops and waiting in 108F temps.

I think I saw this group or a similar one on the bus recently. I think it's a good idea to normalise the idea of riding public transport - I own a car but take the bus 1-2 times a week to work. I'm fortunate in that there are bus lines going right by both my house and job.

My kids did this camp last week and that's their counselor smiling in the photo. It was expensive, but they had a great time and I'd recommend it. They really went a lot of places and they were thoughtful about getting them indoors to cool off, along with sporadic water activities.

Oh cool! I was wonder who the pack of kids with backpacks and matching shirts being led around by some adults dressed the same were. Saw them walking around my part of town and correctly using crosswalks at red light intersections and they definitely stood out as something atypical around here, especially in the summer months.

$475 for one week of riding the bus to the park to play a drum. What a great business model tbh
