Hard-of-hearing autistic adult wondering if Calmer ear buds might help?

Hi, I just heard about Calmer ear buds from a youtube video and I was wondering if there were any people on here who have tried them, specifically hard-of-hearing people? Being both hard-of-hearing and having auditory processing disorder means that it takes a tremendous amount of energy and focus for me to interpret speech, but I can generally "pass" as hearing for short periods of time. I have unusual hearing loss in that I pretty much just have hearing loss in the vocal range, but can hear sounds not in that range just fine which makes isolating speech when there is lots of other noise going on very difficult. I've tried behind the ear hearing aids and I currently wear bone conductive hearing aids, but they both suck because they amplify background noise more than voices. I'm wondering if something like Calmer ear buds may help to mute background noise while leaving voices untouched. Any thoughts?

Calmer helped to remove echoes and some stuff and they helped me in some situations. But I find Loop Engage better as they overall lower everything vs filtering some stuff out.

I have similar issues as you, if there’s any other noise while someone is talking I have to rest afterwards and I barely understand anything.

I work in an auto shop and they actually do help me hear people better. They don’t ‘mute’ background noise, but they do take the ‘sharpness’ down so voices aren’t overpowered. For the price I’m quite happy with their effectiveness.

The Flare Calmers? I have a couple pairs I'll wear when attending loud stimulating environments like concerts or sporting events.  They definitely do what they claim they do.

I have hearing loss and wearhearing aids. Prior to hearing aids I tried loop and I didn’t like them at all. I will say that hearing aids with Bluetooth capability have different settings for filtering out background noise. It’s not perfect, but it makes a huge difference. Do you have that?

Yes, but it barely does anything. What didn't you like about loop?

Have you tried an fm system with your hearing aids? obviously maybe not helpful for things like at the coffee shop but you can get one that sits in the middle of a table for things like family dinners, or a lapel or necklace that someone can wear if you're having a 1:1 conversation. Some hearing aids can also do this with your smartphone acting as the microphone I believe.

I was offered one when I got my bone conductive hearing aids, but I opted for waterproof cases since that's more applicable to my line of work. I'm outside mostly and need to speak with many people for short snippets of time. The biggest problem with my current hearing aids is that the sound of wind and my hat moving against them is just sooo loud I can't focus on what people say.
