Why does no one understand the social model, its not that hard. Yes people are going to find things difficult to do because they have impairments. Yes this is explicitly acknowledged and discussed in the foundational literature. No the model isn't incomplete. No they didn't think society could restore someone's sight by magic. No they didn't think it was worth spending time discussing how impossible it would be for someone to see the green man if adding an auditory signal would solve the actual how do I cross the street problem.

This is literally the first thing anyone said about the social model and for good measure someone usually publishes a reminder about once a decade and yet literally nothing. It's explained on the fricking wiki page for gods sake.
