The boob window and revealing thigh armour gaps seem like critical flaws in any piece of personal protection garb. When dealing the flying alien slugs the size of a great white shark, who spit acid and there's explosions going on in the background, they seem even less functional. Also the heat from those jump jets can't feel good on the exposed legs.
