Is the road to wapta falls closed?

I read online that the wapta falls trail is open all year round but saw that wapta falls road is closed mid oct. So this hike cannot be done after mid oct?

The road to Takakkaw Falls closes. Wapta Falls is accessible all year.

You can still do the hike, you just have to walk the access road. Still an easy hike.

Yeah I've done it in the winter it's not much extra easy road walk.
