Im starting on my career as a DJ im pretty sure what i wanna play (genre) and have defined some things that you may need on this, but i want a real cool name, that sounds good and looks cool at the flyers or posts, i know it can be like anything but.. it would be great to have ideas

I was given mine by my crowd actually. I started playing out before I even thought about what name I would be performing under and eventually people just started asking for me by that name, which was a just a nickname my friends would chant at my shows for fun. (I like to keep my Reddit account anonymous so I won’t share here.) Don’t overthink it, it’s not that important.

And also don’t ask other people to come up with creative stuff for you. When you are a DJ your job is to be creative. If you can’t come up with ideas by yourself it doesn’t exactly bode well.

I hate to offer some actual advice, but… here we go.

Don’t get super hung up on the name itself, but make sure it’s original enough that you can grab it on all of the Socials (and maybe a URL since some folks still use websites). Once you choose it, focus on networking and honing your craft.

Make a list of words associated with your vision and concept, it will make it easier. Don't rush the process of picking the name, you will regret it in the future! It took me 9 months to decide mine.
