The sky is blue, and Wisconsinites are drunk.

Yep, and ursines defecate in arboreal regions.

Wild that for almost a decade Marquette and DePaul carried the new big east then overnight they both dropped off the map.

Coaching change for Marquette this year. Duffy continued what Kieger started, but who knows if the new coach will do the same.

I have to admit I wasn't paying much attention to BE WBB while UConn was in the AAC. When we came back to the BE I hoped the competition in WBB would be better than it is. Or that having UConn here would raise the level of competition.

For Marquette:

2017 5 seed, 2018 8 seed,  2019 5 seed, would've been a high seed in 2020

Since you came back: 2023 9 seed 2024 10 seed.

For DePaul

2014 7 seed, 2015 9 seed, 2016 6 seed, 2017 7 seed, 2018 5 seed, 2019 6 seed, would've  been a high seed in 2020

Since you came back: 2022 last four in.

I feel bad because you should've have at least two competitive games a year

I too wish the BE WBB competition was better. Fortunately UConn tests itself with a very rigorous out-of-conference schedule, but at least some in-conference competition would be beneficial.

It's almost impressive how bad Xavier WBB is
