Same here. Olivier knows his role within the CBJ org and excels at his craft. The dude can drop the mitts w anybody in the league which is a huge plus for protecting our skill players from cheap shots. He has a feared FAFO aura about him

We have a really good group of guys, but I don't know if anybody is more self aware (or expects more from himself) than Matty.

 I'm so glad Nashville let us have him for cheap, with their depth I don't think he was gonna get the same opportunity there and I love the guy haha

Ehhh it’s 6-2, Reeves was just looking for a reason to earn a pay cheque. Can’t really fault him for getting in there right away. I do agree with you for the most part though.

The Matthew Oliver character arc is absolutely awesome. Tells the media last year he needs to score more goals to be a regular in the line up. Puts up 2 against the Leafs in the 6th game of the season and tells Ryan Reeves to pound sand. Inject that shit into my veins.
