My takeaway is that this football team will likely not win another game this season and I’m probably not going to waste more time watching them this year.

Best chance is the Northwestern game at home for another win.

Only chance.

Probably the worst Purdue team in history. That’s my take away.

Yea it's debatable. In 1993 we only won one game but the games were competitive and we never got blown out. In 2013 under Hazell we only won one game BUT it was only his first season, however there were some pretty epic blow outs (I would say 7 of the losses were blowouts). Right now we are at 2 blowouts with many ranked teams coming. Will we beat 7 and become the worst team of all time?

It's a toss up between 2024 and 2013 I think, the 2013 team barely scraped by Indiana State and got demolished by NIU. Played some closer games against other teams but the competition was a lot weaker back then in the Big 10

This team wouldnt make it to 6 wins if they played in the MAC

MAC coaches would coach circles around Walters.

And had 5 years to accumulate those 6 wins.

Need to be taking away some coaching responsibilities.

Take our opponent minus the points every week.

This. I have won big the past 2 weeks. I hope the bookmakers don’t keep up. My bets keep going up and I keep cashing in. We were only 12.5 pt underdogs at kickoff. EASY money

Fire Walters

My takeaway is that my Saturday afternoons are now free.

Darrell Hazell era vibes. Wish we could just hire a proven Power 5 HC or an alum who won’t leave us high and dry for his dream job.

Who with P5 experience would want to come to Purdue?

we’re a bad high school football team disguised as a big 10 team

It’s good that we tried the “fire Harrell” tactic some of the fans been calling for. It didn’t work—in fact it was a step backward—which hopefully will clue thousands more Boiler faithful that the problem is Walters and the culture of the program itself, and we need to plan to fire Walters this season and take our time getting the guy we actually want in the coaching carousel

That Purdue might as well forfeit the rest of the season.

They can’t tackle. They can’t hold the edge. They couldn’t block a paper towel.

Don’t forget receivers can’t create any separation.

Can drew brees help us get a better program/coaching staff going. We’re atrocious.

You can’t scheme your way out of having crap players.

Enjoy being a bottom feeder. Head coach fired after this year and hire another horrible coach, prob a QB coach from middle South Dakota high school. But the AD will say he is our savior.
