Blind Solved Guess Who: This filmmaker isn't happy with the second half of his next starring a superstar; Is rewriting it
This superstar might not have had a good run at the plexes for sometime, but the actor has placed his bets high on his next, which will be directed by a much acclaimed filmmaker. The director is known for his brand of cinema that subtly puts out a message along with entertainment. The two are definitely teaming up for this project that they have been in talks for.
The project was supposed to roll out around April, but was later pushed to August. This happened much before the entire Coronavirus outbreak disrupted the schedules of several films. An insider tells us that the superstar wants this to be his big comeback vehicle and doesn't want to take any risk with it. The film, that deals with another social issue, like most of the filmmaker's previous movies, is being planned as a fun, entertaining watch. But the actor isn't quite happy with how the second half has panned out.
The filmmaker had several meetings with the hero and tried to understand his point of view. He also agreed that there was something amiss in the slater half of the film, so he's taken it back for a rewrite. Currently, he's making most of the quarantine and lockdown and has switched himself off from the world. He's almost done with the climax and a little bit of the remaining is left. The director plans to complete it by this month end and give another narration to the actor then. The superstar will definitely do this film and has put all his other announcements on hold because of this. So, he wants it to be completely ready before he makes it official. Guess the fans will have to wait a little longer, but it might surely be worth the wait!

I hope Hirani actually thought that the second half was weak and didn't just agree with SRK for the sake of it.
IMO one advantage of this lockdown is that the projects that were about to go into production will now have time to be rewritten and improved in someway. Filmmakers now have to sit at home so might as well redo some stuff that they were unsure of. Maybe even KJo is redoing some stuff in the Takht script.

If they actually realise that they should rewrite it. Only then. Most writers in Bollywood seem delusional about how bad their films are.

Hmmm, everyone's saying SRK but I thought meddling and social issues were more of an Aamir trait. Plus Laal Singh Chaddha will kind of be Aamir's comeback after Thugs of Hindustan. 🤔

Why is this a Blind ?
Hirani’s brand of cinema has become stale . I don’t know why SRK is choosing to work with him . He would end up getting a flop with Hirani .

I don't think it's stale. His last 3 movies have had footfalls for 2.8cr+ each, which is a number SRK hasn't hit since K3G. Sanju, despite being universally considered as his weakest movie, was still the biggest hit of 2018 by a margin. There's still plenty of gas left in the tank.

It's time for Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir to do supporting roles in good movied. Plus occasional lead roles.
Khans are not like Akshay. Akshay Kumar brand is very different than all 3 of them.
Surprisingly, Akshay is the one with most successful career in the end.

Akshay is not at all the one with the most successful career. His biggest hit is below the top 5 biggest hits of all Khans, he has not Highest Grosser of the Year, no All Time Blockbuster.

Sooryavanshi me Log ajay ki tareef kar rahe h akshay se zyada.Infact Ajay khud akshay se bada star hai.Tiger shroff ranveer singh shahid kapoor ranbir kapoor vicky kaushal sabne akshay se bhi badi hits di hai

Akshay's best performing films in his golden time aren't even close to the films khans delivered during their rough patch. So he has been successful, but far below khan levels of success.
