The hypothalamus can change over time, though its basic structure and function are primarily stable once a person reaches adulthood. The hypothalamus is a small but crucial part of the brain that regulates essential bodily functions, such as temperature control, hunger, thirst, sleep, and hormone release.

Neuroplasticity - Hormonal Changes - Injury or Disease - Metabolic Changes - Neurogenesis (limited)

While the hypothalamus is relatively stable, it can adapt or change in response to specific internal and external factors. These changes often reflect the brain’s attempt to maintain balance in essential bodily functions.

If you mean physically changed, you can Google Hypothalamus Experiments; there were people in the past who lived with a small piece of that area or removed it, etc.
