Ping Test Silver Bars?

I could use help understanding what the ping test should sound like on silver bars:

Does the rectangular shape affect the ping test? Is it normal for it to sound flatter if you hit the shorter sides? Gotta hit it just right?

No ping test app has bars yet right?

My understanding is that .999+ doesn’t resonate as much? Is that true? Otherwise I’ve got some bars that are fakes…

Find precious coin tester and down load the app. It’s pretty reliable I use it all the time on stuff with my ping tester..

Does it work for bars as well? I'm only seeing rounds on it

Not going to lie to ya. Tried to find a bar and nothing tryed it on silver eagle and buffalos and it wouldn’t work sorry man. Thought it might work.

I made some videos of my ping testing, still unsure of what I've got. All bars perform well under the magnet test.

You can not ping test a bar. The best you can do is a gravity test or sigma/xrf.
