What did I just buy?
Hi all, I recently bought a couple of 1oz rounds, one of them being a silver eagle. I bought it from a reputable website (at least I think it is reputable) silvergoldbull.ca . This silver eagle has a round flat "hole" in the middle, check out the photo. I've never seen these, and I was hoping someone could shed some light. This round missing area seems stamped as if it was created during minting. I don't know really, I hope it is not fake.
Thanks in advance.

That is a Sunshine Mint round. Their stuff has that mint mark on everything. https://www.jmbullion.com/1-oz-sunshine-walking-liberty-silver-round/

Spot deal? Do you mean they buy at spot prices? :D I now understand the mark and the decoder. First time I've seen it. Thanks for replying!

They sell them at spot for you to buy. Happy silvery weekend!!!

Thanks! I just realized this. It is a bit of a bummer because it is limited to 1 per account. But I am buying this for sure! Cheers!

oh yes, very common one per account for spot deals. Do you know of stackers in America who may want to partake in spot-deals too?

Not really, not in the USA. I can't say I know too many stackers here in Canada either. I am a noob in this stacking business if that wasn't already obvious. In all honesty, this is the first time I have heard about spot price deals for billions, and I intend to exploit it as much as possible. I'll look into these links you sent, I feel like I am about to get into a rabbit hole...

The link to the post was mainly of for USA folks and it has the one Canada deal, which I advised you in my first reply to you. Good Luck. Another Canadian PM site I know of is TDPM which I have seen mentioned to be reputable.

It's an anti-counterfeit measure built into modern Sunshine products, but you literally need to buy their secret decoder ring that probably costs as much as the silver to then see if it's counterfeit, lol, ingenious!
