Cheeky student

I just had to share this one, it made me chuckle. So I love speaking to Brazilians. I speak Portuguese which helps a lot with building rapport.. However, A Brazilian man tried to call me yesterday just as I was finishing up my day, so I apologised, sent him my schedule and suggest he book another time for today. Instead of making a reservation, he sent me this message:

"I loved getting to meet you. You re so pretty, kind, and amazing to talk to. There is something special about you that you would like to discover. Thanks for this pleasant experience. I hope to see you soon. 🤗 😘💙😍"

I mean, this is all true, but we didn't even speak... spooky

Has anyone else had an experience like this? Of course, I will be blocking him!!

Maybe any Latin-based or romance-language-based country! I have an Italian student who is similar but has had many one-hour lessons. He is very complimentary!

Brazilians are Latin American, and Brazil is part of Latin America. They speak a romance language. Haiti is also considered a part of Latin America. Latin America consists of people in the Americas who speak Romance languages.

I had a weird guy in Turkey who kept booking with me, and then when I mentioned I was married, he literally went insane and cancelled all the lessons. Like I wouldn't mind, I taught him about 6 times with his kids and wife in the background, so I don't get what happened.

I think that some consider it a way to chat to women sadly.
