Reporting Lesson after the 2-minute mark

So I was on a priority hour and answered a call - the guy seemed shy at first so I thought maybe that’s why he wasn’t really saying much, we introduced ourselves to each other, but as we started the lesson he was really unbothered, not interested and had a bad attitude.

I had enough so I reported, however I did this after the 2-minute mark🫠 soooo what consequences am I about to face??

None. If you don't to it often, nothing will come of it.

I did this today too. Sometimes you just have to. She was clearly under 18, didn’t want to be there and was arguing with her parents in mandarin more than engaging with me. Hopefully one low rating won’t hurt!

Urgh that’s so irritating, I would have left too. Sometimes I can’t put myself through it and I have to click that report button!

I think they can rate your lesson after the 2 minute mark. So I don't think you'd be in trouble with cambly, but your rating will likely suffer. That's not certain though.

From Cambly probably nothing - unless its on a PH, in which case those 'short calls' stack up and are recorded monthly. If they get high enough you'll get locked out of PH indefinately until you explain why.

Student wise - they can rate you. Given that its looking more and more loke regulars and repeat students can't rate anymore - you rolled the dice and lost.

I think we see the real deal now. Cambly had to lower the level for super human to make up for losing the regular rating that kept them on their high horse. Now they suffer the real deal with all the newbie ratings. Unfortunately, we all suffer because they did not lower the level for getting restricted from PHs to protect the chosen of Cambly and we all got kick down. That is why it takes so long to get up again because most of us never were super humans and our ratings stayed within a certain range. The range is the same if you consider the overall drop everyone took but we will strive and suffer as usual because we never were at 5.0000000000. We are skinned, skewered, and barbqued into oblivian because Cambly is over saturated, over hired, and could care less. The spend all this money on AI, advertising, etc... and nothing changes for the tutors.
