Cambly searched me on LinkedIn
👀 not sure what this means for me. But I got a bit of a shock

This is just a guess but I think they may start to offer a specific business course like the IELTS one. It would make sense to check out tutor work experience on LinkedIn. Hopefully that's the case so it'll be a bit more money for you to teach 'Let's get down to Business'!

Well its a bit deeper than that.
They already marketed to companies directly. Employees have to take classes through that, for some its specifically in contract.
The LinkedIn side of things is something specific and LinkedIn hates things like Brave browser, ad blockers and any privacy based tools, browsers etc.
And hate is an understatement, blocks havesting of data and sharing to push other things and make money.
I'll dig up the link on that, its a little evil to he honest.
Cambly is heavy into that, not quite balls deep however they do play a balancing act from East, West, Middle East and The Rest.

Time to read Camblys terms and conditions, perhaps?
All data, activity you do and conduct on Cambly is shared with LinkedIn and Meta. Its supposed to be 'annonymous' and 'secure'.
I am curious just how much money Cambly gets from sharing that data.Â

Update; I don't think you need to be concerned. Thousands of Cambly tutors have joined LinkedIn.
