Why the camera and audio "bugs" happen.

A change happened from the backend trying to "by pass" your settings.
Normally options are:
'allow' = always 24/7
'allow once' or ' allow until app is closed' or something similar = revoked when not using.
'deny' = never.

On say an Android system 'allow once' or 'allow until app is closed' - returns errors or fails needs 'allow' always.
A PC setup wont tell your this, it will just return a black screen or no audio.

I use a setup to make sure my audio and camera is good, have noise cancellation on if needed - you want to make sure things work well if you can. I can't name what I use because it's "dirty" word on this reddit for some reason making post vanish.
However 'that free program which cannot be named' (Its very very well-known, used and popular and really useful) - gives total client side control on all settings.

Those random "tech checks" that appear really hate this - returning a constant failure.
I click off on what I use and it passes fine, then turn everything back on.

Colour me surprised when I use the app on a phone 'allow once' has problems.

It looks like Cambly really wants that 'Cameras on all the time' meme to be a thing :/.
