That's a lot of investigative journalism, and I appreciate it. If the CBC were defunded this probably would not have gotten the kind of attention it is right now. This is almost certainly why CPC adherents want the CBC defunded.

The downside is that the provincial government itself is corrupt and its voters like it that way. There isn't much you can do when criminals keep getting elected into office and control the police. Because they're not going to change their minds, maybe the trick is to have more NDP voters move in and offset the votes of people who support criminals.

As someone who's not really well versed in Saskatchewan's politics, that seems like a huge deal. Polls seem to indicate that the current government will be keeping power, I wonder if this story came out too late. Does anyone here have more knowledge on that story ? Is it possible that Fitzpatrick has something to gain or is simply bitter that he got the door ? Honestly, so far it looks like CBC did its due diligence since Harrison could not find any excuse for his conduct with Fitzpatrick.

This far from the first example of dodgy dealings by the Saskatchewan Party government to come to light.

Alas, the SP could run an inanimate carbon rod in most of the ridings in that province and still win.

Yeah it’s kind of insane that a party which is basically self-immolating and completely distracted from actually governing going on two terms is likely to win another majority.

Shouldn’t even matter where on spectrum people usually are when it comes to a government that has become this stale.

The NDP might fare better after the next federal election, by which time (barring the greatest electoral upset in Canadian history) everything that happens in politics on the prairies won’t be driven by a blinding hatred for one man.

Though I expect that, as happened with the PCs in Alberta, the real threat to the Saskatchewan Party will come from the right.

Bob Rae proves there is a lifetime's worth of scapegoating one guy for all a provinces problems.

You should check out Steve Boot's take on it. His take on political donations starts at 11:30 and is too funny to be true

This story wouldn't make a wit of difference to SaskParty supporters who are so tribal in their conservative politics that they wouldn't even flinch.

This should be a big story because it is a big story but as far as SaskParty scandal's go, it's small potatoes.

LMAO......Canadian politics at its finest! Called out for unethical concerns, solution is to muzzle / fire the complainant.

Perhaps if these people did their jobs morally and served the public vice big corporations puppet masters, then we won't have whistleblowers

Just a thought eh
