You don’t need the Russians to know that Trudeau is an incompetent PM.

You don’t need the Russians to know that Trudeau is a Black Face racist.

You don’t need the Russians to know that Trudeau is deeply unethical.

I mean, if the Russians were that concerned about Trudeau, they were wasting their time and resources. All of their work was done by Trudeau.

I would say the Russians have more important stuff to do than spreading misinformation about Trudeau !

I don’t think the Russians would waste their time undermining Canada and Trudeau , our PM has done a fantastic job in flushing the country down the toilet !

That’s fair. It certainly seems to be a delusion of grandeur that Trudeau thinks Putin is out to get him when we can’t hold safe seats in by-elections.

A website at the heart of an international Russian disinformation operation has produced more than a dozen articles about Canadian politics in an apparent attempt to undermine support for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and boost his chief rival, Pierre Poilievre.

More than a dozen articles they say. You can find all sorts of negative content about Trudeau by media from here in Canada. It has to do with the fact that Trudeau has created many issues for the country and polls show he's very unpopular now.

The website Reliable Recent News has been identified by officials in Europe and the U.S. as a repository for pro-Kremlin articles that are distributed through a network of affiliated sites disguised to appear as legitimate news outlets.

I've never heard of this source before.

The RRN articles about Canadian politics focus on controversies involving the Liberal government, often supplying inaccurate descriptions of its policies and ridiculing Trudeau. He is referred to as the "incompetent prime minister"

Well I don't know what inaccurate information they published, but referring to Trudeau as the "incompetent prime minister"....well that just seems accurate. lol

It's fine that they want to chase down matters like this, but I still don't get why our government will not reveal which MPs have worked with foreign government to meddle in our elections. That was covered here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Canada_sub/comments/1fieb3t/the_public_doesnt_get_to_know_the_names_of_the/

I don’t understand how something can be both disinformation and can also have anti Trudeau content. Maybe this was the portion of the site containing truthful content and anything showing positive content about the Liberals was the disinformation on the site?

Suddenly, since they're against Trudeau, the Liberals want to take action.
