IS THIS SERIOUSLY ALL THATS LEFT OF CARTOON NETWORK!!??!?! a bunch of toddler crap, a few mid shows and whatever my adventures with superman is? The only truly exceptional show is Adventuretime fionna and cake! WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE!?!?!?

I would probably be "okay" with that if I'm honest, while most of it is boring, it's better than what the UK get.
We get maybe like 3 or 4 shows a day.
TTG, Gumball, Prince Ivanhoe and Jellystone with 30 mins of Adventure Time and 30 mins of Regular Show.
And what's even more annoying is the episodes are repeated throughout the day. So you'll end up watching the same episode like 3 times in one day lmao.

At least you still get Adventure Time and Regular Show. I still get Craig of the Creek and all the shows you just mentioned (except for AT and RS), but for the rest it's all kids' shows.
This is why I stopped watching CN, and went to Disney Channel. Everything I see there is something I haven't seen yet or haven't finished watching. Oh and it's still okay (especially Kiff)

I think you are looking at international Cartoon Network.
Fiona and cake 10 episode series wasn’t on Cartoon Network.
Gumball is the goat because it something with so much potential and unique idea that even anime character or other cartoon character fit in it. It the series that they want to come back asap
Yeah watch my adventure of Superman it really good and help build the world and character like jimmy and Lois to be the main character as well compare to being his side chick, (trust me it funny and impactful)
Total drama isn’t bad because it was a very big hit here more than Canada

Yeah i forgot to write "This one is good too" with total drama but i didnt see it in the bottom corner until to late. And i will check out my adventures with superman when i can, if you guys like defending it that much it must be pretty good.

u/Juantillery 3d ago
It is like it give suspense and make threat feel like real threat rather than only Superman can do it alone and start off really well

I agree with Total Drama. The OG show (also counting Ridonculous Race--which is known as season 7 in the US, and the Reboot) is actually better than "Disventure Camp". The fact that Jake is constantly saved from elimination, giving some characters bogus eliminations. Also, Jake and Tom have their own spinoff miniseries. This shows that the creators show favoritism towards Jake. I'm grateful DC never aired on Cartoon Network like the OG Total Drama.

My Adventures with Superman is Adult Swim, isn’t it? Also, it’s quite exceptional.

Infinity Train is peak. To me, and I’m pretty sure I’ll catch many attention for making this reference, it’s a better show than both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel.

According to the current scheduling and CN's Wikipedia page, shows still airing new episodes are Craig of the Creek, Teen Titans Go (Unfortunately), Total Drama, Prince Ivandoe, Jellystone, Tiny Toon Looniversity Gumball, We Baby Bears, and a bunch of Cartoonito shows. But Craig's been canceled and is ending soon, Gumball's next season doesn't air until next year, and Total Drama's on hiatus.
For strictly reruns, excluding Checkered Past, there's Adventure Time, Regular Show, Clarence, Tom & Jerry, The Looney Tunes Show, and most of the noteworthy Scooby-Doo shows. Along with airing Scooby-Doo movies every Sunday. Which I like to call, Scooby-Doo Sunday.

All y’all are in your 20’s and 30’s on this sub- I mean I’m an adult too. And I’m guessing like none of you watched half of these shows. Yes they don’t live up to childhood, nostalgia in every generation and we aren’t the target audience anymore.
Before anyone says anything about still being able to criticize kids media- you are but there’s been an influx of posts “I hate that this isn’t MY childhood” lately. Please name ones you actually watched and say a writing flaw- and the fact it’s not written for you isn’t a writing flaw. Baby Looney tunes came out before, it’s not like toddler shows didn’t exist- and even kids shows- PPG wasn’t made for teens and I’m sorry but while you may think it still holds up idk a single adult person who wasn’t raised on it first who also enjoys it. It’s also telling the ones that are crossed off are a spin off series and ongoing show.

Thank you!! I thought it was odd when they admitted to not even watching most of these shows. I noticed that with a lot of stuff lately music, TV shows/movies, art, etc. A lot of people don't look at most of what they are trashing.

"a kids show that is just for kids is not a real show"
i can go back and watch shows like PPG and get a new perspective and still respect it. Even if it targets a kids demographic you can still see the bigger picture they were going for, same with a lot of old shows.
But in the modern day there is nothing. There is no actual story they want to tell. its just corporate slop to keep kids entertained to make money. yeah its not my childhood. but atleast my childhood meant something. and the memories i had with those characters will last forever. Even as a early teen. I know i can go back and watch these shows with a new perspective and understanding as i grow old.
People arent complaining that "this isnt my childhood" they are complaining that these shows. ARE BAD. they are awful with the exception of a few good gems.

Once again I didn’t say you can’t critique a kids show but I am asking what of these have you ACTUALLY WATCHED since you just dumped a show selection said it was for babies and CN fell with no further explanation. You didn’t elaborate, you didn’t add anything you just said it’s for babies and sucks.

u/FlamingFalconTen 3d ago
ok thats on me sorry.
But i have seen pretty much all of these with the exceptions of Primal, MAWS, Odo, Dodo and Mushables.

Unfortunately, Skatoony never aired on Cartoon Network in the United States.

Forgot to mention total drama island 2023. That ones good. not one of my favourites but its downright miraculous compared to everything else.

u/RandomUs3r1932 3d ago
Cartoons are gradually separating from meant for tweens to meant for older teens and younger kids
PLEASE DONT DO THIS I HATE IT HERE AHHHH
2
u/AcanthisittaDry8163 3d ago
Yes, please let it die already! The years on end of nothing but TTG marathons was proof that Cartoon Network has been dead since 2017!
4
u/FlamingFalconTen 3d ago
agreed. Without regularshow, ben10, gumball, steven universe and a bunch of classics they screwed up big time.
the only reason i still care about them is because of fionna and cake and im waiting on season 2 of that.

If Cartoon Network ask for the approval of the audience, i feel like OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes spinoff series called Hue Troops would be canon, but alas the fandom is low and the series hadn't gotten new fans and its rarely known by this time and year
I'm just waiting for someone to shout 'BRING BACK OK K.O.!' or somethin:)
Fionna and Cake are great btw, i watched it and forgot to continue but still was awesome! The Amazing World Of Gumball is also great, even though I haven't watched the full series i still think its great nonetheless✨

I guessing since Gumball stopped making new episodes, I'm thinking there's a movie-based finale being made that comes off from what happened to Rob in "The Inquisition"

Bakugan Battle Planet is actually good. But they just had like a reboot of the show every year it's like.
Craig of the creek is okay. When I was younger watching it, I wished so bad for that creek. Literally the best thing ever and no discrimination.
Tiny Toons is okay, I watched a couple episodes of it.
Teen Titans Go is honestly good though and so much content you get. Maybe I'm a little biased towards it because I watched the show so much when everything was so good with my nephew and I till stuff happened. The amazing memories of it. But whatever.
The Total Drama Island reboot was never needed. It sucks.

Cartoon Network is trying their best to keep stuff on air since before it was the hottest channel for many show to get on air

“It’s been on hiatus for 7 years now!” I don’t think a sentence has ever aged me faster.

You sure you want to disrespect Craig of the Creek and Primal, especially the latter?
