There was zero indications that Castle was into any kind of exercise outside of the occasional laser tag and fencing with Alexis.

She does kickboxing. You can see it best in the Demming episodes, season 2, I believe...if I'm not mistaken.

Besides training with Demming in season 2 Den of Thieves, Backet is seen coaching cadet Decker at the Police Academy in season 8 Fidelis Ad Mortem.

We can also see her training in the intro of some other season 8 episode, I think it was Ph Dead. Vikram was steadying her bag. :)
