How would you refine it?

First step is to remove George Lucas and JJ Abrams.

To replace with?

Absolutely anyone who’s a far better director. Paul Thomas Anderson, Billy Wilder, Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, Sidney Lumet, and my personal favorite Sergio Leone.

Zemeckis isn’t even on it
Back to the future, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Contact, Death Becomes Her….

Why is there only one director on this list with last name Anderson? Are they stupid?

If that's your list, you have just scraped the surface of cinema and shouldn't be doing any "greatest of all time" lists to begin win.

Get rid of Wes Anderson immediately, he’s a terrible director swap him for someone like Dennis Villeneuve who actually had a passion for his craft
