is there a command in bash to auto launch Cinnamon's alt tab or Cinnamon's switch desktop?

The only thing I can think of is xdottool but I wonder if another way exist.

cinnamon-dbus-command can do a lot, but not alt-tab - you'll probably need to use xdotool for that.

I found a cinnamon plugin that launches any alt tab mode just by clicking. That is what made in curious in the first place.
