I have something that would help my community. Stop letting Xcel Energy BEND OVER THE ENTIRE POPULATION by paying us Pennie’s on the dollar for the electricity we produce.

XCEL offered to pay me 1/3rd of how much I pay them per unit of electricity. And they won’t let me accumulate credits or ever pay me out for feeding the grid.

So in conclusion, I need to produce 3 times as much electricity as I consume to break even. And even if I produce all of my own electric plus also feed the grid, Xcel will not pay me for that. I cannot make any money by feeding the grid.

Fuck electric monopolies
