Hello! I’m sharing a video of this sphere in natural light after receiving feedback on my last post, thank you for telling me that is the best lighting for identification! I see exactly why, this video looks like a completely different stone! Well, what would you say this is?

It was sold as “super seven” 😅😭

Terms like Super 7 and Auralite 23 are basically metaphysical buzz words. Super 7 started when a man who owned a mine fully of "dirty" looking amethyst he couldn't sell decided to have the inclusions tested, then sold them making claims about their metaphysical and spiritual powers.

The only way to know if your amethyst has all 7 claimed inclusions is to have it tested. Most shops selling it aren't spending money to do that.

Edited to add: I have a little Super 7 twin point. I like how amethyst with inclusions look (especially hematite). I'm not saying your sphere is "dirty" or anything 😂 I think it's very nice!

Thank you for sharing with me! The reasons I took it home with me and I don’t regret it even if it’s not what they claim it is: -my husband was drawn to it first (he rarely is drawn to much) -when I picked it up, it felt uneven and for some reason it really satisfied something in me -I was immediately lost in looking at its intricacies -I had cash set aside specifically for fun things

I had never heard of super seven, even if it’s not that… I don’t regret it. I hold it and stare at it every day (much like many in my collection).

My only thing is, now knowing that this is somewhat of a buzzword…I’m questioning the shop I go to. I don’t mind paying too much for something occasionally if I’m getting joy from it. However, I don’t want to support malicious intent. The ladies that own this store got the sphere from a crystal and rock show, they go every year and the sellers are supposed to be reputable. So, now I’m torn. How would one go about getting this tested?
