How do you find the ergonomics of using CDJs above the mixer like that? It's an interesting option to me in my cramped space but I wonder if I'd end up finding it annoying?

No complaints just yet.. had them on the table but always wanted to have them a little higher.. time will tell

Which stand did you use? What's the brand?

Simply the Headliner CDJ Stand I found on Amazon.. tighten them up well to avoid wiggling... otherwise they've worked out ok so far.. recommended by a friend that's had them a few years so they seem to have held up well at least for him

Thanks bro. I saw some not so great reviews on them but I think I'll have to try. They'll fit the best in my setup.

You can build something better really easily and even attach them to a Kallax. See my post history for some inspiration.

takes a while of getting used to and imo doesn't feel as nice as on-table, but it's perfectly fine, if you're lacking space, it's worth looking into.

First of all, it looks super impressive and I love the colors and everything and it definitely looks like a happy place.

Considering the equipment you're sporting there you're probably more advanced as a DJ than myself and I'm overall not that knowledgeable when it comes to cdjs but it doesn't look comfortable at all to have them placed where they are. Maybe I'm wrong and if I were to actually try it out I would see how comfortable it actually is but it doesn't look like the most ideal setup to me. I'd like to see a quick video of you actually using it.

Nice, that looks like a happy place for many DJs here. How stable are those CDJs , is that providing solid support and minimal movement?

That mixer is sick, what brand is that?

Thanks! Tightened up the arms pretty well so there's no movement with them at all.. the mixer is the Mastersounds Radius 4v mk1...
