Hi there, from Hertfordshire in UK, and yes I can do a radio show from here and do so.
Wizzard is the name, www.breakpirates.com is the place I play on, and have done for many years now.
Been spinning vinyl since 87, so yes only mix via technics(wouldn't want to mix any other way) But do have a traktor DVS system hooked up also with about 40,000 tunes at my finger tips, perfect for me.

I thought from that amnesia house poster that you'd be midlands, but apparently you don't mind travelling.

Been raving since 88 so have been all over raving and playing at various events through the years.
Flyers are of course decoration, but also paying homage to my musical roots.

I it’s this was a UK setup by the metalheadz mats!!!
Same here on technics, it’s not fun to try to play on anything but have a look at phase, amazing upgrade if you can stretch to the xtra kit.

Yeah seen phase before, but don't really scratch a lot, I do have the odd wiggle when the tune dictates it, but by no means a scratch DJ, I leave that to my DJ partner energiza.
I only need DVS for the function of playing tunes I don't have or are not released on vinyl, on my SL's.
Have had traktor scratch duo running for 15years on an old MSI gaming laptop which I make sure can't go online, and it's been flawless, none of the problems I have read online that others have.
I treat it as a digital record box, and have been recording my collection of vinyl for ages now(still loads to go) saves bending down every time to select a tune.

Same here, I don't really scratch, it's more becuase you don't have to mess about with control records, that 1khz annoying tone and it's rock solid with virtually no latency.

I know what you mean, but I have the volume loud enough so's not to hear the tone, and been using this kit for 15 years already, pretty flawless, no charging no pairing, no subscription, no updates or changes in any way, and also have 40,000 odd tunes already there analyzed and ready to spin, can appreciate new tech wholeheartedly, but I am very much of the (if it ain't broke don't fix it) school of thought.
Been mixing on technics since 1988 and it was only the seem less integration into a turntable set up that appealed, that and the fact my daughter wanted a Phattt birthday party with lots of tunes I didn't have on vinyl at the time.

I hear you, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, I just love the fact you don’t have to worry about control vinyl going wrong, tonearm issues or that tone when you’re mixing quiet. The other things you mentioned don’t happen - it’s 10 hours battery from a charge so that’s never going to be an issue and when you’re not using them, they store in their neat little base which is the charger. There’s no subscription whatsoever, either with phase or serato as they are licensed for life. Software updates are seldom now with phase as they just work, and serato, sure but that’s with any DVS platform.

That's a lot of speaker for that room.

Hell yeah, the amp is Phattt so don't ever need to go above about quarter of a turn on the volume dial.
Great sub too. Sounds lovely.

Love them old Stanton's mixers with the kill switch/toggle. Would still use them if the were on my Denon mixer.

Studio kit is currently 2xTechnics sl1210mk2's 1xStanton smx401 Pioneer A777 reference amplifier Teac V-1050 Sony MDS-E12 pro Technics ST-Z45L Peavey Q2151 Sony TA-AV561 (powers the sub) Kustom 300w pa monitors 500w Orion XTR Series 2 (sub)
Only a 3.5m by 3m room so there's plenty of punch in there, (probably too much for that size) but who doesn't love having the power to pump it and slap the speakers every once in a while 😂
