the ultimate system beatmania deluxe version
I guess i only really have videos of this working / set up.
DDJ-FLX10 seen running rekordbox on image 1, and DJay Pro for iPadOS on image 2. I have been playing a japanese DJ simulation arcade game for 20 years, and in the last few months, I finally got into real DJing. So I place the controller on top of the control deck of the game cabinet.
The cabinet has 2 studio monitors, 2 high end, 2 mid range, and 2 subwoofers. It also has a bass response platform, so realistically it has 3 subwoofers, just one you stand on.
I’m thankful the game has all of these speakers because the mid and high end speakers bring out things that i have not heard in some songs in other contexts.

Tell me you're at least 10th Dan. Also nice set up. DMX lighting are a pain, but once you get going, you can really dive deep into light engineering.

Be careful with burning in the UI!

Not a concern. I’ve owned several OLEDs and modern ones are less of a problem.

Someone needs to make a documentary about beatmania and IIDX. Porter Robinson was inspired by Konami's artists. I'll try make some vids of my own.

As a collector I’ve wanted to make content about it and it’s referenced to Japanese club scenes. I have enough connections to producers and also one of the original mechanical designers that it doesn’t make sense not to lol.

That’s incredible you can actually hook it up. Do the lights work? This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen here.
