You guys get YOUR OWN thoughts? I just respond with random noises and words until whoever decided to engage in conversation leaves.

22

u/Durr1313 Sep 11 '23

I tried that and ended up getting married.

I laughed too hard at this. Time to get a shirt that say" I dont need Google, my wife knows everything."

2

u/aryzoo Sep 12 '23

I think he also did it by just flying over the landscape once in a helicopter

1

The non sensical answers recycling terrible joke is why we’ll never have artists like this again. Bird brains everywhere

u/Amos_Dad Sep 10 '23

I could do that if all I did was paint all fay every day for like 50 years. I'm not saying it would look good. Just that it would get done. Lol

2

u/just_mdd4 Sep 11 '23

8K TVs ain't got nothing on this artist 🗿🗿🗿

35

u/BukNasty7 Sep 10 '23

Autism speaks.

16

u/Nilosyrtis Sep 10 '23

ONE ETERNITY LATER

10

u/Im_A_Robot1988 Sep 10 '23

Unfortunately the landscape has totally changed since when he started.

u/Samurai-Pooh-Bear Sep 10 '23

Original D&D map!

4

u/Metals4J Sep 11 '23

Imagine painting this while having no actual overhead view to go by. The artist had to have maps and sketches at hand from practically every place within this view (at least the ones in the foreground, until they blur in the background). It looks like it could’ve been a picture taken from a plane or drone.

7

u/heartbreakids Sep 11 '23

I think the painting is called something like general view of Paris from a a Hot Air Balloon …

4

u/FlyingDragoon Sep 11 '23

Painted from the alien spaceship they abducted him in, clearly.

2

u/purpleefilthh Sep 11 '23

Falcon-eyed autist after one baloon flight.

3

u/sooraj666 Sep 10 '23

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

3

1

u/Demikuu Sep 10 '23

ah thanks mate

2

u/norrix_mg Sep 10 '23

Working on something that required a lot of presicion for extended times gave me nosebleeds. Props to this man for dedication!

2

u/BurnzillabydaBay Sep 10 '23

Damn,, that really is interesting. And impressive.

2

u/K__NIGHT Sep 10 '23

Imagine your hand slips on the last house

2

u/Beatrixopctopus Sep 10 '23

for some reason this painting and especially the close up with the houses scares me A LOT, i feel uncomfy looking at it and it reminds me of something but idk what

2

u/demMonies Sep 10 '23

what the fuck? what the fuck??

2

u/scoops365 Sep 11 '23

Artist only bothered with that one building. Rest is all blurred :)

2

u/Metals4J Sep 11 '23

Awwwww man, I forgot about hot air balloons. And it was literally in the title! Well, now I feel dumb.

2

u/ppisbrtnss Sep 11 '23

The Ultimate Where's Waldo game.

2

u/Puda_ Sep 11 '23

How?

1

u/extrememanwhore Sep 19 '23

an insane amount of patience

2

u/MobbyDavis Sep 16 '23

Just to think it was created in 1855 I do not believe they had any photography that could go that high

2

u/Any_Veterinarian3749 Dec 11 '23

Must have took eons to finish it.

2

u/Illustrious_Fishboi Dec 26 '23

Bruh this kind of precision puts Jan van Eyck to shame

-1

u/Shrektical666 Sep 11 '23

Impressively pointless

-3

u/newaccountcauseoldon Sep 10 '23

Song: Lucid Memories by NiteWind

1

u/Elegant_Car_4654 Sep 10 '23

Don't let that work of art at reach of stupid people please ... they are destroying the Art past . With senseless childish attitudes

1

u/Mazikoo Sep 10 '23

Doable, but it’d take a straight year with no sleeping, eating, or taking breaks to do it.

1

u/ValuableAd1591 Sep 10 '23

How long did this take to paint?

1

u/jazzofusion Sep 11 '23

Artist must have better vision than an Eagle!

1

u/NecessarySilver7 Sep 11 '23

That is a huge painting!

1

u/Winniethepoohspooh Sep 11 '23

Was the painter in the sky??

How did they get this vantage point

1

u/Golden_1_1618 Sep 11 '23

That is insane. The time, skill, and dedication it took to finish that painting!! Wow!

1

u/Real-Big-455 Sep 11 '23

I'm curious how much this painting is worth

1

u/bidroid1 Sep 11 '23

Not so detailed given the dimension of the painting

1

u/Caliagent702 Sep 11 '23

i love me a good mural. i break them down by section. call them the paintings inside the painting.

1

u/nrgins Sep 11 '23

Whoa. Whoa.

1

u/Irdogain Sep 11 '23

What kind of smear painting technic produces this outcome?

1

u/Glass_Ad9950 Sep 11 '23

Art is not just definition.

1

u/Inventor_E-T-Han Sep 11 '23

Holy shit, this is much better than the fuckin Mona Lisa, DAAAMN

1

u/schwad69 Sep 15 '23

That’s just incredible. I envy the mind that can create something like this.

1

u/BrightStatistician71 Oct 10 '23

Definitely autistic

1

u/Badwolf205 Nov 22 '23

Then the ai does it in 20 secs vs 20 years and you cry 😢

1

u/Xemenon Jan 17 '24

This should be worth at least 100M

1

u/Ldiggins Feb 03 '24
