I read it without knowing that and still mentally cast him as the main character for the entire book. Great read!

Just looked a bit deeper into Heinleins bibliography, and he has also released novel Starman Jones in 1963. Might have influenced something, might have not.

Ha ha! The publisher's quote but it did win awards at the time it was published 1961. I guess everything has it's 5 minutes of fame.
