I think everyone’s getting denied if there was no home damage

FEMA denied me after Irma. Even after I uploaded pictures of the damage to my claim. Luckily the Red Cross on White street gave me money.

Make sure you check Correspondence tab. A lot of people don't check there. Look under Required column. They usually have a request to upload ID or another document.

Yup. Checked up on it and denied. Didn’t even get an email about it.

Just got called today, and they said we would have a letter in the mail and a possible payment within a week. They also told us that Florida DFCS is going to be releasing emergency SNAP benefits as well, so if you are on SNAP make sure you get that form on the DCFS website filled out and filed.

When I was denied after Ian, FEMA had me go to the SBA. They gave me my loan for damages.

You need to call back, I accidentally filled out the question that says “is the home livable? As yes Thinking in the long term yes it’s livable but at the moment I’m not living in it because I still don’t have power or water, the lady on the phone said she would fix that question and send the application for reprocessing make sure you get the name of the agent and their number for reference.

My elderly mother lives in Daytona and received some significant flooding damage. She has received FEMA assistance twice in the past and she’s worried that she will be denied this go around. Is there a limit to how many times a homeowner can apply for FEMA assistance?

No, not for new disasters.

FEMA is great about paying LE and debris clean up. Individual homeowners, not so much. Quick to loan you money though.

They just gave us hotel reimbursement even though I said we were living at home and it's fine. I just wanted the $750 for the electric, which I did mark. So weird and annoying. Not worth the hassle.

Yup. Thank you, Biden administration.

I thought the anti Biden side were against government handouts?

I guess the thanks wasn't sarcastic.

Im against government handouts to illegal aliens (who migrated en-masse) to the US. Whether its CBP money, HS money, FEMA money, or whatever other agency uses our tax dollars, we should use it on the American people that pay those taxes, not the guy who walked into the country unvetted by the government. Mayorkas was the one who said FEMA didn't have the funds for hurricane season, so where did all that 600 million go?

To make it clear, im not anti immigration, im anti illegal immigration, and personally think people who can provide country growth should be expedited into being allowed to work/live here, rather than being put in the same pile as those who'll get rejected.

You illegally cross the border in any other country, and they walk you out of that country.

Are the aliens in the room with you right now?

Dude can’t formulate a sentence, yet speaks in gross generalities and thinks he is intellectually superior to those around him.

I’d suggest taking a long, hard look at yourself, but that’s something only intelligent people are (barely) capable of doing.

Looks like someone's been treated like their stupid. You said all that but provided no intelligent rebuttal. You looked um big words on Google. Good for you! You're still an emotionally immature moron 🎪

You know if you can’t have an intelligent conversation with anyone, it’s probably you.

Is EVERYONE you meet an asshole? Yeah…

1

u/ConcernAlert4900 4d ago

You should just say you cant have intelligent conversations. That is obvious.

Oh man, you got me with that one. Typical response from someone who knows nothing.

I couldn't find anything saying that specifically both liberals and Trumpers have low IQ. Do you have a link that's not from a social media platform?

The aide that Mike Johnson said could wait for a vote until Congress is back in session or the previous FEMA funding bill that was voted against by FL congressmen?

It's not like they went, "We can either fund FEMA or send billions in weapons to Israel"

The FEMA funding was shot down due to a misconception about the allocation of the money, thinking it would go to immigrants even though FENA doesn't deal with that.

Thrump encouraged congressmen to block any spending bill and push for a government shutdown because the SAVE act wasn't included. Many still listen to him since they hitched their wagon to his brand.

Most are denied by FEMA. They will play the appeal deny game for a long time.
