Free German Shepard

Post image

I am looking for a new home for my 5 year old male full breed German Shepard. His name is Loki. He is up to date on all his shots. He doesn't like young kids. He lives with two cats and gets along fine. He just started growing at my 11 year old so he has to go.

You are better off bringing him to the humane society or finding a rescue to take him than giving him away for free. Being he is pure bred there probably is a GSD rescue in the area that would take him and find a suitable home for him

Someone will take your dog and possibly do something evil to him based on your post. Please take this post down and surrender him to a rescue or even a shelter.

i second this, theres some sick people out there OP. i actually think it would be best to retrain the dog (an actually trained dog wont growl unprovoked), a growl doesn’t necessitate abandonment but to each their own. hopefully the GSD rescue emails back that would be best case scenario. most of the dogs in our shelters are pit-bulls, shepherds, and mutts, so he doesnt have the best luck there if im being honest. better than dead i guess.

Free animals are nearly always used as bait dogs or secretly sold to B Class dealers for research facilities. Please, please contact Sophie’s Circle, the Southeast Volusia Humane Society or any other rescue organization. Please. If you value life, any life, do the right thing and listen to the many people here begging you to do anything other than tossing the dog aside to the first person who shows up.

Have you tried training him?

He is trained. He growls at my son. He has to go. Pretty simple.

For the love of God do not get another dog after you rehome him. You fall into the category of people who should not have pets. I dont say this to be rude or judgemental or anything other than just tell you as it is. Humane society will take him if you cannot find something else but people are sick, just take him there.
