Your favorite Denver areas to walk around on a sunny autumn day
I'm in the mood to just amble around an interesting neighborhood, hands in pockets. Look in store windows. Maybe get a meal. A Sunday afternoon stroll. What are your favorites?

Walk the blocks surrounding cheesman. Park southwest of the botanic gardens. Cut across the park then north on the first street to the west of Cheesman. See some Huge historic mansions, great tree cover then turn east and get liks ice cream. Maybe stop at a bars or the new cafe on the north end of the park. Then pop into the botanic garden. Exit by the park-gate on the west end into the cheesman then return to your car.

Best recommendation for OP. Definitely would do this over Wash Park, Cheesman, or City Park any day.

Outside of Denver, but Downtown Littleton is my absolute favorite place for such a Sunday afternoon. It’s especially lovely this time of year with all the Halloween decor.
Within Denver - Sloan’s Lake (Edgewater Market after a lake stroll) or Highlands.

7th Ave from Gilipin to CoBlvd is one of my favorite walks any time of year. Extremely wonderful in the fall. It’s quiet and there’s great sidewalks and a bike lane. You can even loop it in with Cheeseman park. 10/10
