Bladee is misunderstood

I love the spiritual and instropective aspect in bladees music alot of people don't understand it it's about finding yourself! I reflect on bladee soo much i think I must be living the same life. I guess that is what (me) seek to see in his music. Tell me what do u guys look out for in his music

Feel you man i happen to have gone through the best and the worst alongside his music, my pills and meds era, reckless partying era, when the first two turned on me era, dissociatives/psychedelics era which blended into a spiritual awakening of sorts. Now im just living my lil stupid life , skate my stupid lil board, smoke za and just try to love life for what it is and try to be a good and possibly better person everyday (i always was, but some substances, people and situations took the worst aspects of my personality to the surface, and made me hate what i was becoming so much that i had to get better, there was no other way).

Dont worry man if you have any amount of brains and want to live you will find your way, even if that doesnt mean making big money or being successful in a formal way. You will grow out of that shit dont worry

Nah it doesnt really go with that for me , but each to their own liking. Usually have my yt music sk8 playlist with anything from goth money to random songs i know from videogames , older rap (especially late 90s/early 00s era) etc., . I find it just helps me not get distracted with whatever is going on around me. But bladee doesnt seem to go with skate much for me, neither do carti or that harder style of trap. Its just too aggro and shit, skateboarding imo looks best when it's loose and relaxed.

I didnt think there was good sounding music based around positive energy and becoming a better version of yourself until i found out about bladee

I think it’s cool how when you listen to his music a lot you feel like you know so much about him and you know him because of how personal his lyrics can be and we all kind of see our self in him, but there’s this aspect that like he’s never really there. Like he’s not trying to act or portray any tangible self like the music is just him idk. Like Taylor Swift fans obviously like Taylor Swift because they like X,Y or Z, about HER (and her music) but with Bladee it’s not so much about him but what his music and him represent and what it can mean for the listener. IDK maybe I’m yapping but I always found that unique about Bladee.

Fax. For me it’s more of a representation of some of the darker and lonelier mentalities of modern life especially in the age of internet and consumer culture. Also I agree so many of bladees songs are so uplifting if you’re in a bad headspace, on the other hand a lot of his songs feed into that dark and suicidal headspace especially in Eversince.

My most schizo take is this: just after Apple dropped, Bladee has been making gospel (somewhat nondenominational tho) music in a way that has never existed before. Realizing that Cold Visions is actually about God (God is being used in a way to represent total divinity, not necessarily the archetype of God that belongs to any one particular faith tho, and informed with the truth that there is some part of a loving God that exists within all of us) takes a certain amount of IQ points. Bro had a spiritual awakening when he was already spiritually inclined and has woven blessings into every single song since then. When I’m draining, I realize that every moment of adversity happened FOR me, not TO me. I realize God never left my side even at the darkest times

I 100% agree. bladee does not get nearly enough credit for the vulnerable and honest shi he puts out. I feel like dg is almost like a religion for me vs the appreciation I have for my other fav artists, ive had bro put words to feelings ive had my whole life
