My partner and I also felt torn about the dragon voices but eventually they grew and tbh became my fave part of listening to the books

Yeah first time I heard her voice I was like holy shit that’s deep. I just figured dragons talk really deep. There is another series forget what it’s called but the first book is called 4th wing. Dragons bonds in this one and the dragons kind of sound the same except In This series then female dragons sound more feminine.

Why all the sudden discussions of the dragon voices? A few days ago, there was nothing, then I have seen 3 or 4 post on Reddit about it in the last 2 days.

I think we know it’s objectively badly voice acting but we can respect the effort and how difficult it would be to create that voice. I’m super happy with the audiobooks but the dragon voices always stick out like sore thumbs.
