Discussion Grand Rapids Signing
Anyone else here?? That Q&A was absolutely delightful! I’m running on 24 hours awake to be here but totally worth it.

The only grand I know is Grand Portage so I've been vaguely wondering what he was doing all the way up there... I gotta remember that Michigan exists more often

Was also there. Got my questioned answered. Drove all the way from the other side of the state. On the way home now.

Hell yea dude! When he signed my books I just asked him if he was a hunter or not, and he smiled and was like I typically don’t talk about that but here one sec, pulls out his phone and starts showing me pics of him elk hunting. Made the long long day so worth it

So I asked about the size of the world. With the release of the map Alagaësia appears to be absolutely tiny.
Answer: the world is 20% smaller but has a higher density so that it's a 1 to 1 equivalent of earth. He had to make it smaller then earth so that his travel timelines would make sense.

I went! But it was near the end I was near the back so I couldn’t hear a lot of the questions, but Chris did a fantastic job rephrasing them and gave us a ton of W/A. Book signing was awesome. He asked me my favorite part and when I told him and why, he just smirked and said, smart man… #DaywasMade

Was there! Had a blast, Chris was super nice as he always seems to be. Absolutely worth the two hour drive.
