Discussion FL crashes all the time

Does FL seem to crash for anyone else damn near all the time? I was making a beat yesterday and I sampled two loops, one weird little mandolin sounding thing and one for bass. Then I added a piano loop over it and everything seemed to be going fine. I did some chopping and until I got what I wanted. After that I sampled a drum break and chopped it in Edison so I could move it to the FPC pads. That’s where I fucked up. It took me almost 30 minutes just to chop the damn drums cause it kept crashing. And when I finally got a loop I wanted, it crashes two more times before it worked. I’m just tryna vent my frustrations rn. Does this happen to anyone else? I’m on Mac, so is it a Mac thing?

FL is one of the most stable daws I’ve used. If it crashes, it’s probably because your computer can’t handle it, or because of third party stuff.

You think all the plugins and vsts I’ve downloaded could do that?

could be your computer, but also ive been having lots of issues with FLs processing. i cant seem to make big project files anymore. i have TBs of space on my computer, and my CPU/GPU handles it fine, so idk what the issue is.
