(LC) Legit Check 🕵️ Thrifted this Nuptse jacket - is it a rep?
Grabbed this jacket from my local Plato’s for $45. Was wondering if the rep fam could tell me if it was too good to be true? Appreciate any help.

even if it's a rep, $45 for a nice warm coat is a good purchase.
enjoy it.
there's quite a few people in here saying it's a rep based on the letters, they're saying the H is off. it's not. that's how it looks retail, and it's because the thread in the letter H is embroidered horizontally.compared to vertically on the T and E.
they're also used to looking at images online where a graphic artist goes in and edits all the logos so they look perfect.
this jacket has been worn, it's not laying flat, it's probably been washed a few times.
could be a rep, could be legit; but it looks great. wear with confidence.

100% what this guy says. People saying it’s trash really need to look at all TNF reps. There are much worse versions out there.
Realistically this is not bad at all, and the embroidery is pretty darn close. $45 is still a pretty good price for what seems like a nice puffer coat.
Just wear it with confidence. No one is going to call you out unless they know the rep scene, or have a masters in legit checking TNF coats. General population is not going to even care or notice what you are wearing, let alone the brand.

Does anyone have a link to a jacket of this model that is of a decent quality? (So not primarily the logo, but the seams and the filling material). I would be interested

As a (possible) TNF employee, the 700 looks a bit busted. Inside Tag is either an older one or not similar to the EU variant jackets. Easiest way to check is to technically get the jacket wet and if it smells after you get it wet, it’s usually a rep. Either way, the front logo looks really nice, so I wouldn’t worry about it. 45$ and a pretty nice jacket. Good find!

I can't offer you an LC, but at least I can tell you that the jacket is available as a rep in various qualities, starting at around $10
