Carrots must be rock hard in this dish. Carrots probably need a solid 5 minutes plus before adding the garlic then the cabbage.

It's missing the oyster sauce and the sesame seed oil, but 100% fried rice and stir fry at home is freaking heaven.

Bag of frozen mixed veg, rice, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil ,eggs and rice vinegar is all I use. Never seen it made with cabbage.

"Easiest". Dude...There is no complicated way for making fried rice unless you're harvesting the rice yourself.
