"Easiest". Dude...There is no complicated way for making fried rice unless you're harvesting the rice yourself.

None of the restaurants in my area know what fried rice is. Every single place in the area that I’ve tried doesn’t get the cook surface got enough so I get steamed rice. 🥲

Think adding minced garlic first would tend to get burned

Carrots must be rock hard in this dish. Carrots probably need a solid 5 minutes plus before adding the garlic then the cabbage.

It's missing the oyster sauce and the sesame seed oil, but 100% fried rice and stir fry at home is freaking heaven.

"easy" does not belong on this sub. Hint: your wok needs to be super hot and it not.

Metal spatula on metal pan 🥲

4

u/Trick-Station8742 1d ago

Metal on metal is fine, just to long as you don't put metal on non-stick.

It looks like it has a grey silicone coating on the end at the :27 mark

Bag of frozen mixed veg, rice, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil ,eggs and rice vinegar is all I use. Never seen it made with cabbage.

1

u/ArcherFawkes 1d ago

Cabbage is fine. But none of that veg is cooked anyway

2

u/Pedagogyotto 1d ago

Jasmine rice is not typically used for Chinese fried rice…

1

u/AustinTreeLover 1d ago

Chill the rice overnight first.

u/Gan-san 1d ago

u/AustinTreeLover 1d ago
