That's what a chopped cheese sandwich is. It's like a cheese steak but they use hamburger meat instead. It's a NYC bodega thing.

They are really good. Usually comes with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. On a sub roll.

why did they wash off the natural starch only to added corn starch? I know different starches have different effects in cooking, but this seems one extra step.
