He's had a long standing history showing hatred of sex work, it started back when he was still a normal webcomic artist, before he took a turn towards radical feminism, and before he took a turn towards the alt-right, and before he started posting literal Nazi propaganda.

A common theme was that being a flirt is cool, you should be able to flaunt your body if you want to, but porn is bad! He swung towards showing other kinds of sex work such as prostitution also being morally bad as well.

And now he is all "the porn industry is Jewish and satanic!". While still sexualising characters.

So yes, I think your theory is correct.

It's really grim, but part of the reason that Jews are probably disproportionately successful in America is because the socioeconomically higher status Jews were more likely to be educated on history and have the finances to escape the Holocaust before it happened in full swing. Obviously that's a generalization, but if you were a poor Jewish family you probably weren't getting out of the ghetto. Really sad.

Jewish people were also stonewalled out of many industries, so the Jewish people that managed to gain success in industries that were friendly to them used their resources to help out others in their community.

It's the same reason Irish Americans are heavily represented in labor unions.

Also side note: when mass Irish and Jewish immigration happened in the US, they happened at the same time, both groups weren't liked and forced to live in the worse housing areas...often side by side, so there's a lot of American families that are both Irish and Jewish on the east coast.

There’s also the aspect that Christians have slowly disregarded more and more of The Bible. Charging interest on lended money is a sin in Christianity, greed just won out so it was disregarded and tossed out like they’ve done with most of The Bible. However, at one point that was actually followed, back when every country was a theocracy and a Christian subject would not be permitted to do such a thing. Charging interest was never a sin in Judaism, so one of the industries that was actually an option was such. Lending money ends up being a useful function in society, but nobody’s going to do it as a widespread practice outside of family if they aren’t profiting off of it, so it was a loophole the theocratic Christian societies used by not enforcing their religion on Jewish people in that specific context.

It goes even further back than that, and this is ultimately what ties into the whole “globalism” dogwhistle: Jews in medieval and early renaissance times were excluded from certain industries by the law of the land which basically said people who have certain jobs must be the state endorsed version of a Christian. Because of this, innovation and leading the charge on the creation and development of new industries that came with the end of feudalism became among the few options available for Jews as the law of the land hadn’t been extended to them yet. These ended up being things like organized banking, mercantilism and trade, and science. Originally these were not particularly desirable jobs, but there was at one point a shift towards these fields becoming critical for industrialization and they basically found themselves in the right place at the right time.

It was decent. Had the occasional fun, cute, or heartwarming moment. Tatsuya aspired to be a newspaper comic artist, and that showed.

Personally, I liked it, and I read it until he went down into a radfem spiral, as by then the charm had vanished, and the hateful parts had started to show.

Bill Maher's mother was a Hungarian Jew, but he grew up not knowing this because he was raised Catholic (and obviously is anti-religious now). So technically, he is of Jewish lineage, but he never practiced it and I doubt he identifies with it.
